OVERcoming Procrastination

Procrastination is a behavior that is deeply ingrained in a person. It is a pattern of behavior that keeps recurring so much so it is difficult to part with it. It becomes a routine of sort and once it becomes a routine it becomes a habit. Breaking away from any habit is not an easy thing to achieve. However, there are approaches to beat procrastination. Some approaches will work better for some people compared with others.

One of the approaches in dealing with procrastination is to get organised. The organisation system that is being opted for to organise the work should not be too complex and it should be easily understood. It is advisable to make a list of tasks to be completed and their deadlines. It that way, the chances of missing out on the tasks would be decreased. It is also a good idea to begin doing the task or assingment as soon  as it assigned. This would prevent the task from being forgotten entirely. Take what is at the top of the priority list and determine how long it will take to accomplish it. If it is a quick task, have it done promptly such as on the same day. If it will take a longer time, divide it into smaller tasks to be spread out over several days. Note this in a diary or calender with specific dates for accomplishing each.

Sometimes things are put off because something doesn't feel right. Many of us actually know exactly the necessary changes that are needed in our respective lives but they do not happen. For instance, if a person is overweight and in actual fact she knows she has to shed some weight but she does not. This procrastinator falls into the category of a procrastinator who is aware of the need but still putting it off to later or never.

Malaysian Heritage Sites

Malaysia heritage sites are another part of Malaysia culture and history. The states of Malacca, Kedah, Perak and Sarawak are among the states that have several heritage sites. For example A Famosa In Malacca, Bujang Valley and Langkawi Geopark in Kedah, Lenggong Valley in Perak and The Gunung Mulu National Park in Sarawak are some of the sites that one must visit.

Archaeological findings suggest that Lenggong Valley in Perak is believed to be the oldest known human activity in the Peninsular Malaysia. This was dated 31,000 years ago. In contrast, the other archaeological site, Bujang Valley in Bujang Village in Kedah was dated 1,500 years ago. It is one of the archaeological sites in Malaysia among others. More than fifty ancient tombs or Candi, have been found there. Most of the archaeological findings imply that an old Hindu-Buddhist empire was built at Bujang Valley. Remnants of shrines as evidence to the existence of Hinduism and Buddhism can still be seen.

Nevertheless, if you wish to see one of the oldest surviving European architectural remnants in Asia, then A Famosa in Malacca is the place. Archaeological findings were also discovered in Malacca. The first was the discovery of a watchtower in 2003. The second archaeological finding was a structure, part of the fort, which was found in 2006. Both were discovered during the construction of Dataran Pahlawan and during the construction of the 110 meter revolving tower in Malacca respectively.

The other interesting heritage site is Gunung Mulu National Park which is known for its limestone caves. Sarawak Chamber is one of the largest cave chambers in the world; Deer Cave and Clearwater Cave are the largest cave passage and longest cave in Southeast Asia respectively. Although these examples are not reflective of all cultural heritage of Malaysia, they provide "Glimpses of the Malaysian culture and heritage."

The Beauty of SemPoRna..

Do u’ve heard about Semporna before?
Do u wish to visit Semporna for one day??
I have been stay in Semporna for along time ago.. Semporna is a truly beautiful place to visit. There are several factors why u have come to Semporna such as its islands charm, its people lifestyle, food, celebration and so on. But, Semporna most popular because of its beauty island with blue ocean.

Today, my entry talking about “SEMPORNA” Okay.. geographical coordinates of Semporna are 4° 28' 52" North and 118° 36' 57" East. Semporna is located in the southeast of Sabah. Tawau city is one of town near to Semporna. There are many of islands around mainland of Semporna such as Sipadan Island, Mataking Island, Mabul Island and so on. I have visited all of this island.. hihi . The map of Semporna as below;

Sipadan Island.

Sipadan is the only oceanic island in Malaysia, rising 600 metres from the seabed. It is located in the Celebes Sea off the east coast of Sabah, East Malaysia (which is on the island of Borneo). More than 3,000 species of fish and hundreds of coral species have been classified in this ecosystem. Sipadan has been rated by many dive journals as one of the top destinations for diving in the world. Frequently seen in the waters around Sipadan is green and hawksbill turtles, enormous schools of barracuda in tornado-like formations as well as large schools of big-eye trevally, and bumphead parrotfish. Pelagic species such as manta rays, eagle rays, scalloped hammerhead sharks and whale sharks also visit Sipadan.

U can have service of package, hotel and resorts in this page http://www.sipadan.com/ if u wish to visit Sipadan Island.

Sipadan is really paradise of scuba diving and snorkelling.

Semporna People

Many people can we see live in Semporna. Among them is Bajau, Bugis, Sulu, Bisayak, Chinese, Indian and so on. There are also people who emigrated settled in Semporna due to trade like Pakistani. But, I was intrigued by a minor community of Semporna that is “Bajau Laut”.

Why..??

Because they have their own life style different with others people.

What’s that..??

They live in the small boat or they call it “perahu” on the sea surface. Can u imagine it??
What I know they have no religion. However, they still have faith in nature. They are very close to nature, especially the ocean because the ocean is the source of their livelihood. Children as early as 3 years old are already familiarized with the ocean. Can swim and dive.

This photo have over 20,000 like on social media after tourist from China upload it and other people share it :)
